The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the Bengal tiger, is the usual add-on to a Kolkata programme. Lodges and cruise boats hold tens of guests, not hundreds, so the plenary usually stays in Kolkata and a team goes down for one or two nights.
