About ICE India: Integrated Conference and Event Management
ICE India, Integrated Conference and Event Management, is a corporate event management and MICE company. Mufaddal Dahodwala founded it in Mumbai in 2009, and Mumbai is still its headquarters. Conferences, leadership offsites, award ceremonies and incentive travel, in India and abroad.
Our story
ICE India began in Mumbai in 2009. Mufaddal Dahodwala started it with a habit he brought from hospitality, where he grew up: plan the process first, so that nothing needs fixing on the day.
Since then the company has delivered 1,500+ events, among them 500+ conferences and 500+ award ceremonies, across 50+ destinations. Offsites, leadership meets, product launches, incentive trips and delegations all run the same way, with a single point of contact, end to end.
Three things underpin the planning: long-standing relationships with hotels and venues, structured timelines, and tools for registration, rooming and transport. Mufaddal grew up in hospitality, which is where his habit of planning every step began. He founded ICE India in 2009 and still plans every programme himself. Alongside it he is building Stagefront, a free platform for discovering artists and performers, and Urban Bedouin, an operations tool for MICE teams with a trip kit for delegates.

I grew up in hospitality. Process is not bureaucracy. It is the reason nothing needs fixing at 2am.
A client once left us for another agency. After their event I asked what they remembered most about working with that agency. They said it was their presence of mind when their backs were against the wall. I asked whether they'd ever seen that side of me. They said no, never. That is the point. In 2012 a storm raged the night before the event but somehow team ICE rebuilt holding fences and directed the participants away from the flooded areas.

- The Network of Indian MICE Agents, for agencies that run meetings, incentives, conferences and events.
- The Tourism India Alliance, a not-for-profit alliance of India's travel and tourism businesses, launched in 2023. ICE India is a member.
- A network for the people and companies who run India's events industry. Mufaddal was an early member.

The acronym ICE stands for Impressive, Capable, and Efficient. It was so calm and well-managed that they were able to handle the whole event from scratch. The company is experienced in handling things such as negotiations, customisation, and creativity. Our event was managed by ICE India in such a way that our client was unstoppable in appreciating it. We worked with ICE India for Confluence, our annual global partners meet. There were 4 other agencies who were pitching for this event and we finally chose ICE India due to their thorough understanding of our needs and the innovative ideas which they suggested for the event. Since this was the first time that we were working with ICE India for such a large scale event, we were a bit skeptical, but Mufaddal and his team were involved in every small aspect of the event and executed it seamlessly. The biggest thing that they bring to the table is the organized way in which they work, which leads to minimum last minute issues, which we all know is bound to happen in a large scale event.
